💛 Standing With Colorado Seniors in Times of Need
Bright Leaf Senior Resources has been proudly serving seniors across Colorado with free home repairs, helping them stay safe, warm, and independent in the homes they cherish. But right now, many of our neighbors are facing an even deeper crisis.
With the SNAP benefits pause hitting hard, we’re seeing the impact in every corner of our community—empty cupboards, skipped meals, and heartbreaking choices no one should have to make. Some of our seniors are not only caring for themselves, but also raising their grandchildren. And without transportation support, many simply can’t reach the help they need.
That’s why we’re stepping up to deliver food boxes directly to seniors in need, ensuring no one is left behind. But we can’t do it alone.
👉 We’re asking our community to stand with us. Please donate what you can to help us keep our seniors—and their families—fed, supported, and cared for. Every dollar makes a difference. Every act of kindness echoes across generations.
Together, we can make sure Colorado’s elders are never forgotten.

SNAP Benefits Pause: Help Us Keep Seniors Fed
We’ve all heard the news — food benefits are being paused starting November 1st, and the impact will be devastating for many in our community.
At Bright Leaf Senior Resources, we’re working urgently to keep our seniors and their families fed and supported. Most of the elders we serve are homebound and without transportation, relying entirely on our volunteers to deliver food boxes directly to their doors.
If you have the capacity to help — whether through a donation or by volunteering to deliver food boxes — we need you now more than ever.

Grandcare Alliance supporting seniors raising their grandchildren
Help Us Keep Colorado’s Seniors Safe, Supported, and Home
At Bright Leaf Senior Resources, we believe that every senior deserves to age with dignity—in the comfort of their own home, surrounded by memories, not barriers. From emergency home repairs to food assistance and advocacy, our grassroots work reaches the most vulnerable: low-income seniors, disabled veterans, and those quietly raising their grandchildren in silence and sacrifice.
This year, we launched the GrandCare Alliance—a bold initiative supporting seniors who’ve stepped up to raise the next generation. These grandparents are caregivers, mentors, and heroes. But too often, they’re overlooked by systems that weren’t built with them in mind.
Your donation helps us:
-
Keep seniors safely in their homes through urgent repairs and accessibility upgrades
-
Deliver food and essentials to those who can’t get out
-
Advocate for policy change that reflects the real lives of aging Coloradans
-
Support grandparents raising grandchildren with resources, community, and hope
Every dollar goes directly to the front lines—where compassion meets action. Whether it’s fixing a broken furnace before winter or helping a grandmother navigate school enrollment for her grandkids, your gift makes it possible.
Donate today. Help us preserve homes, restore hope, and honor the legacy of those who’ve given so much.
Together, we’re not just building ramps and patching roofs. We’re building a future where no senior is left behind.
