Bright Leaf Senior Resources: Expanding Our Reach to Serve Seniors Statewide

We Are Here To Support You

What started out as a resource group turned into a much bigger vision.

Bright Leaf Senior Resources is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping low-income and disabled seniors, aged 55 and up, with home maintenance, essential repairs, and accessible remodels but we also offer landscaping and yard work. The exterior of your home is just as important as the inside. Our Mission: To assist in transforming the homes of senior citizens into safe, accessible, and comfortable living spaces. To ensure that every elderly individual can age in place with dignity and independence through our dedicated renovation and home maintenance services. Based in Northglenn, we proudly serve communities across Colorado, working alongside volunteers, local businesses, and organizations to create safer and more accessible living spaces for seniors in need. There is no cost for these services. Our volunteers offer support long after your repairs are done to help your continued success.

The heart of Bright Leaf lies in our community-driven approach. Thanks to the generosity of local businesses, volunteers, and donors, we’ve been able to provide life-changing assistance to countless seniors. Each project we take on is a testament to the strength of our community and the power of collective action.

Every door we open, every step we build, and every home we repair is one more senior empowered to live confidently in the place they cherish most. At Bright Leaf Senior Resources, we are not just fixing homes—we are nurturing hope and creating lasting change for those who have given so much to their communities.

Together, we can make a difference. Join us in helping seniors thrive, one home at a time.

Supporting our Senior Citizens home upgrade needs.

The cost of accessible home renovations in Colorado typically ranges from $699 to $8,049, with an average cost of around $4,374. However, more extensive modifications can cost up to $19,000 or more.

Considering the average income for senior citizens in Colorado, it might be challenging for many to afford these renovations out-of-pocket. Bright Leaf can provide financial assistance and resources to help seniors with these costs.

 Fact

A national survey by AARP revealed that 79% of older adults would need to modify their bathrooms with grab bars or no-step showers, and 71% reported having inside and outside accessibility issues. These figures suggest a significant portion of seniors likely need home remodels for accessibility.
